You know, I wore flip-flops like one time as a teenager (I think for when we went to the Jersey shore), and I hated them. Never worn'em since. But my kids wear them all the time! Those and sandals are the shoes of choice down here. (I don't mind. It's a lot easier than finding socks and putting sneakers on them!)
